Amazing book w/ real life examples and tips

Alex is the real deal. He wants to really help others and you can just feel it. His tips in this books work! I love that he decided to narrate this book, too. Check out his YT channel if you haven’t! It’s the same name as his website or just type in his name and it will come up.

Brilliant

I’ve read many self help books. This is the nutshell that contains pure gold. It’s not a diet book, it’s a manual for life. I’ve listened to it three times now. It’s beautifully read by Alex himself. A five star book in every way. Thank you Alex.

Loved it

It is truly inspiring and amazingly helpful. I recommend the book to anyone who wants to own the day. The book might mainly be for health and weight management, however, i found it extremely helpful as a life management tool. Just amazing

Gets better as you get further through it!

At first a wasn’t hooked on the book. I however gave it a try and by the end of it I kinda loved it. I’d say it was worth sticking with it. The rating is as it is due to the slow start.

Surprisingly astonishing!

Started following Alex recently on YouTube, and while I was shopping on audible, I thought, let's give a try. Well written self development book with lot of interesting tips. Successful life is not determined by single big actions, instead by daily small habits. "Gutta cavat lapidem", a drop of water can did a rock not because of its power, but because of it's persistence. - Latin proverb. Thank you Alex for this simple but invaluable lessons.

Clear and concise, perfect commuter listen

Having followed Alex for a number of years via his YouTube channel : modern health monk I was looking forward to his first book and my first audiobook and it didn't disappoint. As he is the author as well as the narrator for the audio his passion and believe in the master the day system really shines through. The book teaches you several steadfast principles that have helped many of his personal clients and many others beyond that. Anyone can apply theses principles to their own life to attain their dream goal (health, financial etc) interspersed with inspiring quotes really is button player.

No one wants to hear the truth but you need to!

This book is all you need to achieve your goals and aspirations. It’s the human condition to look for a quick fix for every problem we face in life but this book lays out the truth - the one we all know deep down but refuse to accept - that there are no shortcuts to reaching big goals. However! Alexander breaks down long term goals into actionable tasks that WILL amount to greatness over time. There is no such thing as an overnight success. More like an ‘over years’ success- and isn’t that more admirable anyway? Change your habits, change your life.

A definite read to make a real difference

Highly motivational. Alex definitely reads his book with purpose. Taking the day by mastering habits is a wonderful way of accomplishing goals whether it be food/weight related or just trying to fulfil yourself in other aspects of life. Does become repetitive at times, but only drives home the point more. Would recommend.

so helpful that I decided to listen to it again!

I found this book inspiring and eye opening. setting was clearly articulated and it all just makes sense.
I am not overweight, but I can apply the learnings from this book to my everyday life. I have a full time job and a family so I always held off on my dreams due to lack of time. this book helped motivate me to just do a little each day.

BEST book I’ve read/listened to in Many YEARS!

I’ve been an Audible customer a long time and have bought several books whose sample snippet was misleading. I’ve wanted to return those books—-but didn’t! THIS book delivered wonderfully, practical, useful information and so many stories I could relate to. I loved that the author read it, I could hear his passion, he was believable, and Alex has a great voice for reading. Some people really shouldn’t read aloud nor even be recording ANYTHING - and I’ve got some of those collecting dust in my Audible library - can you buy them back, Audible?? 🤣 Guess what? I’m about to read it AGAIN!! =) BTW - I’ve never taken the time to provide online feedback on anything..... I felt an urge & obligation this time - that’s how much this book meant to me. Thanks, Jan T.

3 Listens one week

While i think this bok was quite inspirational It had some negative tones that i didnt think myself and some times where there were some weird beeping noises.
But it have great points and habits i will take after so overall a great book for acheiving your goals!
