The chances of me ever becoming a sniper are about the same as my chances of becoming a world champion sprinter. So for me this is one of those books you buy because it's just cool to know certain things, however little practical need you have for them. The book delivers on that, with lots of fascinating details that will delight shooting-nerds. And the book addresses itself to the simply hunter or target-shooter which broadens it's appeal too. It's a whirl-wind where nothing is covered in much detail or for very long, but perhaps that's no bad thing when complexity is easy to forget.

Narrator is fine.

Compact and to the point.
