Summary
Chain-smoking former U.S. Marine, Mantis, finds herself amid a demon-littered suburban hellscape. With the book of Revelation unfurling before her very eyes, she recruits a reformed prostitute, a bubbly dancer, and a hopelessly smitten DJ to try to stop the biblical apocalypse in its tracks. Locked and loaded with sinister creatures, violent villains, and an unfiltered heroine with the charm of a rabid wolverine, Mantis will take you on a blood-soaked road trip through the bowels of America's deep south and drop you on the doorstep of the Devil. From the demented, award-winning author of The Rictus Grin and Other Tales of Insanity & Vanity Kills comes a unique thriller in the spirit of Dogma and From Dusk Til Dawn, recommended for fans of Jeff Strand, Chuck Wendig, and Christopher Moore.©2024 Erica Summers (P)2026 Rusty Ogre Publishing Genre Fiction Horror Literature & Fiction Mystery, Thriller & Suspense Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction Science Fiction & Fantasy Thriller & Suspense Funny Witty

This was a great light hearted story. Great characters with some depth, apocalyptic and demonic premise with a few little twists in there for good measure. I’m yet to read something by Summers that I haven’t enjoyed

Humorous pre-apocalyptic fun
