Redundant, nothing new

I really hoped this book would give me some insight on a former (horrible) manager. But it seemed more like a communication skills workshop booklet. Plus, the author repeats the same mantras over and over. This may be a personal thing, but the narrator irritates me like nails on a chalkboard for this type of book (romance novel may be OK). I usually finish a book once I start reading but I just can’t finish this one.

Annoying Narration, for a teaching book.

The Narrator is annoying, she reads the book with an attitude. This book is not intended to be read in this fashion, of performing arts. It is a teaching book and the attitude can be left out. There are parts of the book that can benefit from the performance art but majority of the book should be read with less force and more teach. At times the narrator is so bad that I cannot follow the content. I am not done with the book but I’m writing this review because I might not finish the audio, and might have to go pick up the hard copy. Wish I could return this audiobook.
