Summary

More inept, more clueless and more exhausted than ever, the man behind the blogging phenomenon Man vs Baby is back with the latest instalment in his (and his son Charlie's) journey through the chaos and comedy of parenting.

In the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Sunday Times best seller Dummy comes Man vs. Toddler - the story of what happens when your little one is transformed from an innocent bundle of joy into a creature that walks, talks...and craps in a plastic bucket in the middle of your living room.

Man vs Toddler exposes the lie that when it comes to parenting 'it gets easier'. But it is just as honest, foul-mouthed and heartwarming as Matt's first book and will have you laughing and crying with recognition as he shares his observations and advice on everything from tantrums to the horrors of soft-play.

Fantastic.

The narrator has done an amazing job. Best book I have read/listened to in years.

Witty and too accurate

Loved this book. It could easily have been written about my son. Very accurate and honest look into parenthood

Brilliant

Such a funny, heart felt book. Had me laughing out loud. Very touching and reminds you how wonderful toddlers are and that it's ok to feel overwhelmed sometimes.

Midwives should be handing out copies of this book in the delivery room! The information all parents need, delivered in the funniest way possible.

A Must for everyone with a small human

The best books make you feel like you're not alone. I recognise so much of my own life in this book, but the book is much funnier. I love that Matt reads it himself as somehow it's much better in his accent and wouldn't be the same if someone voice artist from the home counties were reading it.
In short, love it. I'm off to listen again.

Funny for 5 minutes

I understand some people want to rant about their kids, i get it.
We just had a little baby, and at the same time we are raising a 2 year old.
This book seemed perfect, to blow of some steam and have a laugh, maybe learn something.
Like i said, the first 5 minutes were funny. This guy is ranting about his son, calling him all names from Satans Asshole to Little Terrorist and everything in between. Although he is right, ofcourse, this is no way to speak about your son, and specially not my son.
I take this shit way to personal, and this disrespectful blur of making your son look bad just gets under my skin...

Annoying

Gave up on this because of unnecessary swearing (coming from someone who does swear) or as my husband put it... “can you turn off the annoying angry man please”
