The characters are engaging in there own right but add in the magic and then they become delightful and I was hooked, I NEEDED to know what was going to happen and who to trust. This book has everything, from mystery, magic, a evil villain, a best friend/sidekick, pets, romance and wonder.

This is the first book and we meet Joey a middle aged woman who puts everything that has gone wrong in her life down to one catastrophic event. Then she meets Robin a Fae Prince who has the power to help her change her past in exchange for a favour at a later date. But is the grass greener on the other side or is she making a big mistake that will cost her dearly?
The Fae side of fourty
Having changed her life and leaning how to live with what she has got, Joey learns the consequence of her actions and deal making. Robin the Fae Prince has now lost all his powers and somehow Joey has ended up with them. His mother wants him back in the Fae world and the only way to do that is be eliminating Joey, even if she is her son's fake Fiancee.

Awesome story, awesome narrator, could listen to her all day, story was amazing loved it, so much, I didn't want it to end, looking for more stories like this by author & narrator, had me from pg 1 to last pg & I'm still running with it, I'm addicted & my fav was granny B & her sayings & Dragon brill.
