An outstanding audiobook narrated by the Queen of this genre.👑 It has almost become a joke at this point that she misprounces Niamh (Neve) into Knee-Ev.🤣

Although this wasn't my favourite book in this series so far, that honour goes to MM Battle, it had a lot of elements that needed to be explored, tied in, tied up, and thoroughly enjoyed.😉

No one does this genre better than this author, in my opinion, and I dread the day she decides to stop writing about these characters!😳

This book saw Nessa/The Captain and Sebastian/Elliott Graves back on the search for answers on the mages. They were dropping bodies and then bombshells on Jessie and the crew, thankfully not together!🙈

Jessie, Austin, and Jimmy, her son, along with most of the core group from Ivy House and the shifter pack, headed to LA for Christmas. Oh, they also had two parties with Jessie's ex-husband! Boy, do we see a side of humanity we didn't need to.😠 He's absolutely vile! Austin, let's Jessie find her feet, then back's her all the way, while also supporting her to get there before she finds her strength.♥️

Niamh brings something terrifying, even to Sue and Aurora, into a pub. It's hilarious.😂 I really would love a romance between those two. They seem so compatible!😍 Also, is Niamh starting to hone in on Tristans' origins?🤔

My biggest misgiving with this book was that it almost felt like too much was happening. I wouldn't have minded another novella to split the different sections into more cohesive chunks. But having said that, it's still full of all of the usual crazy, love, banter, caring, and found family love!⭐️🥰

Another excellent book in the series. Lovely to catch up with all the whacky and wonderful characters and to see what antics they are up to next. A delightful and funny read with the amazing Nicole Poole narrating. I would highly recommend and cannot wait until the next book in the series
