really great story lines with a chief administrator of schools unknowingly having a one night stand with a teacher at a conference, really great characters all the way through and really brilliant narration with a happy ending as well Thanks 👍👍

This series is one of my favourites. I enjoyed getting the story from Headmistress Nox's point of view and meeting her mother.
Beautifully narrated by AC.

Odd one this, and a unique concept. Two books in a series, the same story , told through eyes of both MC's. Sam the first and this the second by Magdalene.
Especially odd because it really is the same story so alot of repetition if you read/listened to book one, which got tedious !
The plus side to this book is that there is a final chapter which takes place three years after book one finished.
I liked book one and both MC's so I would probably of listened anyway even if I had know just how similar the books are ?
The narrator did a really good job.

Magdalene Nox tells her story in a beautiful touching rollercoaster ride of emotions that is narrated by the amazing Abby Craden. This is captivating, beautiful and frightening all rolled together in a sensuous romance. Hatred, jealousy and betrayal all lurk in the shadows of the Dragons, a path Magdalene and Sam have to negotiate together. ❤

This second book covers the same story but from Magdalene’s perspective. It fills in lots of blanks and goes a little further into the future. It’s equally as fantastic as the first book and one of my favourite sapphic romances.
