A fate unraveled and destined to be rewoven back together.

Amira has never been more than a pawn in her powerful father's games, but a chance to escape her life of lonely monotony arises when the king invites all nobles of marrying age to find their perfect match.

Now, she must play a new kind of game. Forced into the political machinations of the ruling class, Amira learns that darkness lurks behind gowns and lavish parties. The captivating Prince is always watching—and so is his dangerous but alluring right-hand man. Will a royal engagement give Amira the freedom she desperately wants, or will it lead to her destruction?

As Amira navigates the wicked schemes of court and her own heart, another mystery unfolds. Magic has been banned for centuries, punishable by death for all who practice—but it might hold the key to change her fate... and the fate of the entire kingdom.

Freedom is at the tip of her fingers, but the cost may be Amira's life.

Lunaria is the first book in The Unraveled Fate Series, a romantic fantasy series that follows Lu, a strong, sassy, and independent female character, in the fight for her freedom. This epic tale of enemies-to-lovers and found family is perfect for fans of high-stakes, slow-burn romance, warring kingdoms, hidden magic, witty banter, and romantic tension. For fans of The Cruel Prince, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass, and The Witcher.

Firstly, this was a complete story. In a world where authors are ending a book halfway through a chapter to force to buy the next one if you wish to hear the end, this one had a beginning, middle and end of the story, yet leaves it open for further stories, and I really appreciate this.

Right from the off, the narration was great, and I really appreciate the narrator’s male voice, where she just lowers slightly, instead of doing some cartoonish impression of a man. It made it so much easier to picture the men, instead of thinking of them as extras in an am dram performance.
The story was good, and the writing, while not top end literature, was really good for this genre, not childish and full of grammatical nightmares.
I would happily buy the next one.

Really enjoyed this one

Not sure why there are so little reviews for this excellent book! I really liked the world and character-building in this where the story unfolded rather than jumping straight into the female character meeting the male. Lovely descriptions too which made you really feel like you were there. Likeable female character - unlike many where the 'tension' comes from them being a whiny complainer. She was strong but not so strong as for it to be unbelievable, so she had weaker moments as we all do which made her more rounded of a character. Excellent performance from the narrator who, again unlike others, managed to do the male character's voices without getting the tone wrong. Going to get part 2 now. A real joy to listen to!

Excellent book!

An unexpected gem of a book. A great, strong, female lead character and plenty of excitement to keep you listening. The narrator does a super job of bringing the story to life.

Well worth a listen
