About this listen

Among the Space Wolves there are as many sagas as there are warriors. Though none quite like that of Lukas the Trickster.

Renowned and reviled in equal measure, the Jackalwolf has ever stood apart from his brothers, passed from pack to pack by embittered Wolf Lords. But as a new enemy invades the icy reaches of Fenris at the height of the Helwinter, Lukas finds himself facing a foe who may rival even his legendary cunning - the drukhari corsair, Duke Sliscus.

In the battle between wolf and serpent, who will emerge triumphant, and who will lie on red snow?

Loved this. Lukas is a great character and provides a different perspective when viewing Space Marines.

Great story

Firstly, Lukas really is not a social justice warrior, some other reviewers need to go pick up a dictionary.
Lets be blunt, Lukas is 40K Loki as an Astartes and that's not a bad thing at all.
It's a well told story and a nice bit of colour for our favourite Grey hued space viking rip offs with some nice background for both them & the Dark Eldar.
A fun story and John Banks reads it skillfully.

Does he have a brother called "Foor the Pious"?

I was unsure about buying this book as it looked a little different to the run of the mill Vlka Fenryka stories. I was pleasantly surprised though. Refreshing and exciting and well read as normal.

A different but excellent Space Wolf story

I was really surprised at the level of philanthropy and socialism given to Lukas character, in a quasi fascist society like Warhammer it was the last thing I expected to see, the book itself was very enjoyable and at times quite amusing, John Banks narration was superb and lifted the characters out from the book

Lukas the social justice warrior 😳

Enjoyed the story and how it told the back ground to Dark Eldar and Spacewolves culture and fluff.

Enjoyed it a lot and recommend to any Dark Eldar fans also

Great insight to DE and SW culture
