About this listen

In her sizzling Love Under the Big Sky series, USA TODAY bestselling author Kristen Proby sets the stage for a passionate reunion under the breathtaking Montana sky.

Cara Donovan’s summer tutoring job is turning out to be a challenge—and not just because of her troubled twelve-year-old student. It’s his uncle Josh who’s the real problem. If problem is the word for an irresistibly cocky, muscle-bound rancher with a taste for tight Levi’s and shameless flirtation...

Cara is nothing like the wallflower Josh King remembers good-naturedly teasing in high school. This Cara is gorgeous, confident, fun. From the moment the fiery teacher steps foot on his family’s Lazy K Ranch, the stubborn playboy is determined to corral her. So what happens when his luscious lover takes over the reins?

The first in a steamy trilogy, Kristen Proby’s enthralling novel is filled to the brim with one hardworking family’s triumphs and challenges, all the wild adventure of the modern West, and a whole lot of titillating fun.

I liked that Cara was a normal sized woman not a stick thin woman.

Although I did struggle to finish this book, I'm reserving all judgement until the end of the third book.

A cute story

... but so much swearing!! It really put me off this book!!! I won't be reading the rest of this series...

Not a bad story...

So absolutely and completely dull. Boring and uninspiring female lead falls in love with average male lead (..who isn’t ‘alpha’ - yes he’s possessive, but in an insecure way, not a manly, hot caveman way).

I listened to the first half and couldn’t stand to finish it, then months later I decided to try again as I hate to not finish a book - eughh.. really shouldn’t have bothered. Waste of my life.

I have listened to hundreds of books and this is at the bottom of the pile in terms of how good it is. People who think it’s ‘sweet’ or ‘romantic’ really should try some other books as there are many that are a million times better. Kristen Ashley, for example, really develops relationships in her books.

The narration was poor too and made the book seem even more boring than it might have been with another narrator. Their voices sound ok to begin with, but then you realise it’s boring people reading a boring book.

I reallllllllly need to dig out a book that gives you the tummy squiggles and heart blooming surges that a romantic book should. This is not it.

Boring and a real struggle to finish
