This is the first (and hopefully last) time I’ve ever said Jakobi and Wesleigh didn’t leave me on cloud nine at the end of a book.
There was a melancholy to the characters that created a disconnect between the characters and the story. I didn’t get the same intensity the writer wrote Tracey to have, he just seemed needy and desperate.
And Africa didn’t seem like a real person, non of them did.
Thinking about the story alone it’s a good book, but the narration didn’t work this time.

So sad this book wasn’t for me
