About this listen

"The Cthulhu Mythos" is a system of cosmic entities, forbidden books, and macabre locations created by the American author, H. P. Lovecraft.

Our original 2018 Mythos collection was based on Lin Carter's Lovecraft: A Look Behind the Cthulhu Mythos, which defined a Mythos story as one that "presents a significant item of information about the background lore of the Mythos, thus contributing important information to a common body of lore."

This revised edition expands that foundation, adding Dagon, Nyarlathotep, The Colour Out of Space, and The Mound, along with new recordings of The Nameless City, The Hound, The Festival, History of the Necronomicon, The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror, The Dreams in the Witch House, and The Shadow over Innsmouth.
