Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning. After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: No talking, no names. It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind.

I left my family and tiny Texas hometown 15 years ago to escape small-town gossips and to give my mom and sister the chance at a better life. But when a phone call from an attorney back home informs me that my sister passed away, leaving me custody of her newborn baby, I'm shocked out of the steady life I've built for myself running a tattoo shop in San Francisco. The thing is: I don't do babies. And I don't do small towns. Or commitment. And I especially don't do family.

A wonderful romance story with great narration
A short, sweet romance that does exactly what it says on the tin. Craig feels like he has no control over his life at the moment and everything seems to be going wrong. His one bright spot is the guy who comes into the cafe where he buys his coffee, once wearing a shirt that said ”I'd bottom you so hard". Gathering up the courage he asks Jesse to be his tutor in being a top. The relationship between them builds quickly and their attraction is hot. It takes Jesse's positivity to get Craig believing in himself which is nice to read the changes made. Jesse seems like a sweet guy, truly wanting Craig and urging him to trust what he's saying. The moments between the two are hot, keeping your attention on the story and their connection. We focus on the two MC's with it being a short story but I enjoyed reading it, not really needing extra characters. We have Craig's mum who they visit and talk about and the workplace of Craig but the majority is Craig and Jesse together. The customary moment of angst occurs with things becoming clear for Craig towards the end. I'd recommend this for a short and sweet mm romance. The narration for this book is great! The general internal monologue is filled with enough emotion to keep us attached to Craig and the events going on in his life. The angst and worry coming from Craig is adorable to hear but also the development of his confidence. Jesse is so different from Craig, his sass and attitude are easy to discern, voices easy to identify. There's a wide array of emotion needed through this story with Craig experiencing so much in a short time and Ry brings us along for the ride with him, easily portraying what is needed at the right moments and I think it made the story even more enjoyable for me to listen to. Ry was really good at keeping my attention throughout the whole of the book, at the good and bad times, just needing to know that all would be well for our lovable MC's I'm really looking forward to hear book 2! I received this from the publisher and am happily giving a review

Oh so much fun!
I read this book and loved it so much I decided to listen as well. I am glad I did since the narration was absolutely amazing.! Ry Forest/Stephen Kurpis really brought the story to life. the pacing is great, the emotion is so real, with soft moans, gunts, chuckles etc. I think this makes a book much more exciting when listening. Love you so Hard is the first book In the Love You So series. Craig is sure he is up for promotion and it will change his life. He feels he is boring and dull and longs t be a top but none of his hookups ever let him top. He as an infatuation with a young man he sees each morning in the coffee shop that wears a shirt that says Will Bottom you so hard. But the morning goes south when a co-worker steals his promotion using his ideas. He takes an overdue vacation and goes to the coffee shop the next day. His secret crush comes over and they chat. He propositions Jesse to tutor him to be top. Jesse is a young vivacious student and tutor. he struggles to earn enough for his food working hard for his PHd He has seen the hottie every day and is thrilled when he asks him the strange request. I love Tara Lain stories. They have the most fun characters and storylines. This story doesn't disappoint. I loved both Craig and Jesse and the shirt was such a cute idea to make a story from. There are lots of action both regular and sexy times. If you are looking for a fast pace, short, fun romp then this is for you!

Irresistibly Charming
The premise of this book had me purchasing it in a fit of expectant giggles, and it didn't disappoint. It was sad to watch Craig struggle to see himself as worthwhile. That doubt almost costs Craig his happiness, but love brings out the best in him just when he needs it most.

Sultry narration
Craig is the ultimate plain Jane with low self esteem and a lot of responsibility. I think most of us have been in his shoes once or twice when a co-worker take all of the credit for our ideas. Well, Craig finally had enough and plans to make a change. And, up pops Jessie. The story is told from Craig’s POV which leaves Jessie an enigma. He is young, smart and hot and so willing to be the bottom for Craig. Kudos to Jessie for hanging in there and walking when Craig crosses a line. I totally wanted Craig to have his pretty woman moment and yass! It happened. There is a whole lot of insta-like and an over the top HFN but I don’t care. I was so entertained by the story I bought the audiobook so I could listen to it while I work. The narrator totally nailed Jessie’s voice. Seriously. This is the closest to being turned on by a voice I’ve come in years. Oh gosh, the Jessie giggle is great and gave me shivers in a good way. Lol I’m happy I picked up the audiobook so i can enjoy Ry Forest’s performance.

3.5 stars- Cute but a little cheesy
Love You So Hard was a short story full of the smexy times I’ve come to expect from this author coupled with an adorable plotline. I loved the lighthearted feel of the story and dialogue, but also appreciated that we got to see a couple who was clearly made for each other. The pace of this short is pretty brisk with Jesse and Craig’s relationship moving forward quickly and feelings being declared relatively soon after the two get together. Even so, I couldn’t help but smile at these men and really liked seeing Jesse bring out Craig’s confidence while appreciating his sweet, caring side. I also enjoyed the narrator’s delivery. The pacing and emotions he conveyed fit perfectly with the book’s tone. This was the first audiobook I’ve heard performed by Mr. Forest, but I’ll be on the lookout for more from him the future. I do have to note there were some extra cheesy parts that garnered a few eye rolls, but the narrator’s performance smoothed some of those over and overall I found myself enjoying the fun, flirty style of Love you So Hard and will be checking out the next in the series. *Reviewed for Alpha Book Club*

Love You so Hard
3.5 Stars overall This book is on the shorter side, super light and cute, with no angst. It’s also pretty funny and interesting. The storyline and character personalities are a little over the top ridiculous at times, but I think that makes this book worth the time to read and/or listen to, since it will get you out of your head and keep you amused for a few hours. Craig is a dork - I mean he’s smart and awesome in his own way, but he’s just not confident in anything he does and tends to let people walk all over him. He just doesn’t know what to do in life to move past his depressing/negative attributes. He is totally clueless about everything that happens to him that I simply don’t know how he has survived up to this point in life. That’s where Jessie comes in. Jessie is confident and outgoing and knows exactly what to do in order to get what he wants in life. Since he’s had a crush on Craig from the moment he sees him, he offers to “tutor” Craig to help him become more confident in going after everything he wants. Jessie is basically a force of nature that Craig never sees coming. And I really do like how they have an instant connection but neither of them seem to know quite what to do with it. They are just kind of adorably awkward about the entire situation they get themselves into. Audio - I really did appreciate the narration of this book in audio too. The narrator, Ry Forrest, does a great job with the voices of both characters, making them unique and making it easy to follow the storyline. I think he did a great job getting us into this audiobook for such a short story and I would be happy to listen to more of his narrations in the future.
