Summary

While the world is ravaged by a global pandemic, hotshot NFL running back Evan Sparks is locked in his own personal hell. With a career-ending scandal on his back, Evan hides out in his best friend’s empty San Francisco home, the full city shutdown locking him in a lonely 20-story apartment in the sky.

Romance writer Sadie Walsh is having the worst case of writer’s block ever…until the incredible, muscular stranger staying next door gets her muse going strong. The pair of loners, never expecting to find a friend in all the madness, meet each day out on their balconies like a modern-day Romeo and Juliet.

Each new day brings unique challenges for the pair as they navigate the unknown and find solace together. They quickly figure out that as long as they have one another, they can handle anything.

Even falling in love under quarantine.

Through a sexy, hopeful, strangers-to-lovers romance, the authors prove with love, trust, and faith, we can conquer anything.

“Kylie Scott and Audrey Carlan weave a charming and witty romance into a confusing and stressful real-life scenario and the result is magic. Sexy, humorous and sweet, this is a quarantine must-read!” (Devney Perry, USA Today best-selling author)

I’ve only listened to 30

Currently only listened to 30mins but I’m already ready to return. Will Damron really sounds like he’s reading. And he sounds super kid friendly and theatrical.
Not the narrator for these type of books.

Love Under Quarantine

Being 100% I wasn’t sure I wanted to listen to a book about the pandemic but its Kylie Scott and I love her books.

I will say because I listened to the audio I was a little thrown off by the dual narration because I am so used to Andi doing both in Kylie's other books. So I didn’t really welcome Will’s narration until about half way through. But then I warmed up to him and actually appreciated that he did Evan’s POV chapters.

I loved that Sadie is a romance writer that was kinda awesome. How they meet and start to talk is interesting. I think because so much hits home for a lot of us right now it’s a little hard to read.

The isolation and fear we are all feeling really shines through and that can be a little daunting. But the hope and love that the authors give us with the story twists gave it that little extra to want to know what happens.

Very glad I picked up this book and followed through with it. I really did enjoy this story and the different style than I am used to with Kylie's work.

Not bad

It’s a light and fun read. It’s pretty unrealistic- very & truly a fantasy of a romance. I just wasn’t having too much fun of the fast phase the 2 characters were in. Great idea for a book for this time and of course, I could relate on the Quarantine desires and worries. Overall, It’s okay read.

WHILE IT'S GOOD TO BE FIRST, IT'S NOT GREAT!

I love the books this team produces. I started reading them for escape right after the pandemic started. This is below their usual story and dialog standards - a C+ compared to solid A's. Still, they are first to capitalize on COVID-19 in the romance market. By no means their best work, this is still a grounbreaker for the soft-porn romance genre.

bit too graphic for my taste

I like Kylie Scott as an author because her stories are so varied and not too formulaic.

This story However was a bit much for me. underneath all the graphic sexual content was what seemed to be a cute story but there was just not enough story to balance out the chapters of graphic details.

Narration was perfect, as always.

Predictable but still enjoyable

There is no mystery or suspense, and very little conflict. Decent performance, but as usual, male actors can’t seem perform female voices that aren’t a caricature. Authors make irritating mistakes, that push me out of the story. Within the first 5 minutes, a capital city of 11 million, infamous the world over, is called a “small town in China”. Idiocy like that just sticks in my craw

Nobody writes male characters like Kylie YUM

Such a great book especially after this year of quarantine and what we’ve all gone through. We all should have had an experience like these two. This author writes such warm, caring, loving, and funny male characters. I’ve never read a book and felt characters come alive before reading Kylie if you haven’t read her books please do yourself a favor and do so ASAP. Her female characters are awesome to it’s just that the men….oh my.
