About this listen

Someone is killing werewolves. At least, that's the way Vincent Van Gogh tells it when he shows up at Mark Abernathy's art gallery seeking protection. For gallery assistant and art history addict Hanna Harvey, meeting Van Gogh is a dream come true—until death follows the troubled artist to town and Hanna becomes the murderer's next target.

When Alpha Wereboss Mark Abernathy goes missing, a new wave of murders draws the attention of drool-worthy Detective James Morrison, further complicating Hanna's epic dating dilemma. Only absinthe-swilling bodyguard Toulouse Lautrec stands between Hanna and the malevolent murderer whose grudge runs deep and appears to be connected to the mystery of her bloodline.

Damning evidence convinces Morrison that saving Hanna's life requires ending Abernathy's, and she's forced to choose between protecting the man who holds the key to her past, or spilling her secrets to the detective who could promise her a future.

Contains mature themes.

Well this series has dipped in to slightly rubbish shifter story.
Not ever famous person the main MFC has ever read about studied needs to be supernatural, the suden appearance of lots of male werewolves that can hunt by smell but not smell the MMC in his own work place was just stupid.

The story jumped about alot and this was jarring.

But the bit that made me tun it of more than once to rant was the MFC just leting bad male behaviour slide. Infact the sexual harassment of MFC thinly covered by werewolves in heat was gross. Yes some guys are creepy but this just made we wonder if i will keep listening.

Slightly disappointed

It got good near the end, I’m really disappointed with this book. I was so excited to listen to it and the first couple chapters were great and then it went downhill from there. The narrator was amazing as always but it was really boring tbf, umming and arring about sending the book back.
