Love Me Harder is an intense, romantic, swoony romace with some suspense and mystery thrown in. Nevaeh has lived somewhat of a sheltered life, following the rules her mother has set for her. When he brother ends up murdered, while she is in his house, she then becomes a target. While running from one man, she is saved from another. Ethan is a club owner with a little bit of a shady history, but he has a connection to Nevaeh and wants to save her, protect her and keep her safe. While she is hiding out at his house, they become closer, their chemistry difficult to ignore.

Love Me Harder was a bit of a wild ride, that kept me invested until the very end. I loved how Ethan was powerful and had this rougher exterior, but was absolute mush for Nevaeh. He could not say no to her. I liked how Ethan wanted to do anything to make her happy. This book had a lot of twists and turns and a lot happening in it, but I really enjoyed listening. Marie Hawkins and Theo Sinclair did a fantastic job of bringing these characters and this story to life. I have listened to Theo Sinclair a few times now, and he is quickly becoming a go to narrator for me. I always look forward to listening to this author's books and this was no exception.

Nikki Ash pens another amazing novel, a stand-alone romance/romantic suspense that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. Nevaeh grew up in a very strict religious home, and her mother basically ruled her with it, throwing it down her throat to keep her in line. A night out celebrating her birthday with her best friend has her rebelling against those rules, a minor rebel, enjoying a cocktail, a slightly bigger rebel, facing her ex, fibbing about dating someone and then kissing a handsome stranger, the someone she said she was dating, thankfully the stranger went along with it. Ethan Romero was sitting at the bar in the club he owned when an angelic beauty caught his eye, but knowing she wouldn’t be his type, he turned away, so her coming up to him for a kiss, a sizzling kiss, surprised him completely, but he recovered enough to pick up on what she was doing, making her ex jealous. She disappeared after that, but their paths would cross again unexpectedly, and when she was in a boatload of trouble. Ethan may have some shady dealings going on, but he is not a bad person, and seeing the predicament Nevaeh was in, he knew he had to help her and keep her safe from his employee who went off script and rogue. Nevaeh and Ethan may have been opposites, but they worked, bringing light to his darkness, and then taking him out of that darkness. This wonderfully written and plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride, and I loved this so much: “Live Hard, Love Harder”!

🎧📚🎧 Maria Hawkins and Theo Sinclair did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting. I loved how they owned their roles, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. They embodied their characters completely, grasping every aspect of their personality and demeanor. Hawkins was a natural in Nevaeh’s role, sweet and innocent, but not naïve, and Sinclair was just as fabulous in Ethan’s role, a hardened alpha at first, but his soft and caring side shone through. Both did a fantastic job performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. These two are a perfect pairing with voices and talent that complement each other and a captivating performance that keeps you hooked to the story. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Love Me Harder is a standalone. I love Nikki Ash's books, and this one was amazing too. Neveah has lived a very controlled life. Her mother is super religious and very controlling. Neveah has never really gotten to live life the way she wants. She finally decides to live on the edge for a moment. She walks up to a stranger and kisses him. That stranger is Ethan. Ethan plays along with her story about him being her new boyfriend. I really loved this book.

Marie Hawkins and Theo Sinclair did a fantastic job narrating this book.
