Overall a fun listen, the concept is sound and I'm curious where it will go in later books. on a Spookyness scale it's maybe 3/10 so not scarey and appropriate for younger listeners.

The school stuff was ok but I actually preferred the opening with him as a roaming necromancer for pets.

kinda a odd one, this story was a huge surprise for me. Im not usually too big on stories that place romance at the forefront of its genres but this this was different. it had enough of the gloom filled adventures in the underworld to keep you entertained even during the longing lovey dovey stuff.

overall i had alot of fun listening to this tale of mystery and death and found myself loving certain characters too.

well reccomended
