Great perspective

I really enjoyed the content of the book. It made me look deep into myself and my character. Lloyd James did a good job reading it. However, I do feel that the content of the book is personal to Andy Stanley and would be more powerful of Andy Stanley's voice was behind the book.

Great book on Character

Character development is tough, but Andy Stanley provides some great insight for growth and maturity in this book. I recommend you get the print or e-book as well as the audible.

Says it different

The reader was fine although I would have enjoyed hearing it in Andy Stanley’s voice. What makes this book so good is that, about half way through, Stanley starts to explain certain spiritual growth concepts in ways that made better sense. I’ve been a Christian a long time, received lots of teaching and spent lots of time in my Bible, but Stanley’s way of explaining, for instance, renewing your mind and walking by the Spirit were exceptionally helpful. Maybe I was just more ready to hear the message but maybe his teaching will help you too. God bless!
