I love a good romantic suspense and I can depend on Delores Fossen to give me one. This is the second story in the Hard Justice series and it's packed with action and romance. Someone is after Rachel. She isn't quite sure what to do as the killer is stalking her loved ones. Calling her old boyfriend Jericho who is special forces may be the answer. Jericho never stopped loving Rachel, and now he is faced with the most crucial case of his life. Bringing in his team, he is hoping to keep Rachel safe and stop any further murders. What he finds though is much more. This is a fabulous listen, including a whole lot of suspense as I wondered who the next victim would be and if the team would get there in time to save the next. The true passion between Jericho and Rachel are embers flamed back to life with these two. I loved this installment of the series and can't wait for more.

Marcus Barton continues the series with a fabulous narration. He has a talent for building the suspense in stories, keeping me on edge with the tone of his voice. In the next breath he turns to a mad passion with the characters and gives all the heat. I loved his performance and look forward to more.

Brilliant narration from Marcus Barton, who brings the characters, drama, action and chemistry to your ears. Perfect.

Both Jericho and Rachel had a hard life as children living in the compound. Having both escaped and made a life. Jericho is one of the top operatives in Mavericks and Rachel is a social worker who cares for troubled teens. Trouble and danger maker Rachel look for Jericho for help and protection.
We have action, danger, angst , great characters and perfect amount of heat.
