About this listen

May 1937, and London prepares to crown a new king. Wow!! By far the best book in the series so far!! I did skip the last book as Archie and the crimes are the best bits and I didn’t fancy a whole book that could be filled with the Josephine/Marta saga!!

But this book was an absolute joy! The narration was as ALWAYS amazing and the book was Nicola Upson at her best!!! writing crime fiction and never straying from the plot!

Bravo!!

It’s hard to talk about the development of characters in this series without giving spoilers but this book centres on the death of a BBC presenter and even some of Josephine’s friends are noticing what a selfish pain in the arse she is. I have so many questions for the author of this series!
