Summary

Zoe Lake and Aric Winters have been through it all. From murderous professors to tan vampires and all of the wolves, witches, and sphinxes they can shake Zoe's magic fingers at along the way. They've survived it all.

Now, five years after leaving Covenant College, Aric and Zoe are leading a quiet life hidden away from potential enemies and old friends. All of that changes when a familiar face from the past shows up needing help.

Zoe and Aric are due for a change, and they're going to get just that in this exciting new trilogy. Follow the most powerful mage in the land as she navigates the horrors of evil minds and power-hungry megalomaniacs - even as she tries to plan a wedding and secure her happily ever after.

This three-book omnibus includes every installment of The Living Covenant Trilogy, including Rising Covenant, Dark Covenant, and Eternal Covenant.

The last book is disappointing

Would you listen to Living Covenant: The Complete Series again? Why?

I would possibly listen to this series again, but I might fast-forward past the first 18 chapters of the final book.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Revisiting the their Covenant College after 5 years being referred to as "old" by the students.

Any additional comments?

The last book is disappointing as the first eighteen chapers or so are like a bad wedding-obsessed sit-com full of pointless cliched mother-taking-over-wedding-plans scenes that seem to just be there as filler to make the book long enough to count as a book. Once they got all that out of the way the actual meat of the story was OK.

Totally inappropriate choice of narrator

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I don't know if the books are good bc I could not stand the choice of narrator. It's not that she was bad, it that she is reading a book that is totally inappropriate for her voice. Its from a characters in her late 20s but the narrotor sounds like she is 65+.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

different narrator

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It sound like it was being read by an out of breath elderly women

Any additional comments?

Maybe I will get these books to READ since I cannot with the chosen narrator.

What happened to Eric!!!

I know this series is YA and I am well past that but loved the first 3 books, but what happened in books 4-6. Eric has become this pathetic little lapdog who does nothing but say i love you to Zoe and run around her every wish. The author totally killed his character and Zoe has become a snipey pretentious brat, not an emerging mage. Amanda I cannot work out if you started to hate these characters whist finishing the series and this came out in your writing or something else very weird. If I had not bought the box set 4-6 I would never have bought books 5 & 6, which is a real shame a loved the first 3 :(

Extraordinarily entertaining

And extraordinarily entertaining series. A very well written tail and a great cast of characters. As with all of Amanda I am Lee’s bucks her worlds are interconnected and on occasion characters bleed over into other series with in the world. Great story with plenty of action lots of twists and turns good versus evil not too much of anything just the right amounts to keep you continuously reading from beginning to end. Check out all of her different series you will not be disappointed.

Underwhelming.

not as good as the first series, I didn't like that there was a different narrator than the first series; she doesn't have as many voice variations. I found each book a bit anticlimactic. overall, I enjoyed the continuation of the story and was able to move past my issues with it.

Poor naration

It was a huge mistake to switch narrators. The voice and quality of the production was a huge disappointment in comparison to the Covenant College series. I will not get the rest of this series

Spectacular set!

Lee has created another masterpiece. This often hilarious and poignant triology is imaginative and captivating. The main group of characters are loveable and the villains are hate worthy most of the time. Snarky dialogue combined with adventurous plots made these books fascinating. I love the Audible edition, because I font have to stop the book when busy. This edition would be great to keep your spirits up in traffic jams, and awake on long trips.
**On a side note** Books 1-5 of the car Covenant College days will introduce you to the main characters that meet thru the college. Happy reading and listening.

Speed up the narration

I agree with others, the narrator is totally inappropriate for a YA novel. I could not stand her voice or slow breathy style, and it felt like the voice was dragging. I decided to try speeding up the narration. At 125% her voice sounds normal and the story moves SO MUCH BETTER. Once I did this, the story was fun!

I’m so disappointed

I listen to the covenant college series and fell in love with the narrator. The narrator for this is horrible. It’s like she’s trying to sound low and sexy. But all i get is sinus infection and airiness I couldn’t even continue with the story after the first chapter

Average story, below average narrator

The fake, I'm trying to be sexy voice takes away from the story. The other narrator was much better from the first trilogy.
