Summary

Some advice suits certain people more than others.

Some advice is...redundant waffle.

And Nat's What I Reckon refuses to let it slide! Ya see, Nat's got a loud mouth and a taste for taking the piss out of stuff—it's how he lives, laughs and loves.

Now, his target's the tired old life advice he's had enough of:

Man up. Good vibes only. No pain no gain. Carpe diem.

What a punish!

Nat has zero qualifications as a philosopher or life coach, and he doesn't feel like becoming one anytime soon. But as someone who has struggled to find the ray of positivity in most days of his life, he knows what it's like to feel the relief from a moment of joy.

So buckle up for Nat's unrequested take on pushing back against expectations and rolling through life with some laughs and kindness like a real, righteous ratbag!

Hilarious, heart warming and a complete joy

I loved this book so much!! an absolutely brilliant read brought to life by Nat himself (and Jules!). It properly made me laugh out loud and at the same time had me nodding along with so many of Nat's takes on life. A wonderful hug in book form for anyone who's ever experienced mental health challenges and a great way to ease the pressure on life while bringing a smile to your face. Learn more about Nat, have a food laugh and reflect on life in all its forms. 11/10 will happily read this over and over.

Brilliant

Wasn’t at all what I expected. Was an eye opening heart wrenching internal look into Nats life up to being a legend on YouTube/insta in his fight against jar sauces & rightly so. He used champion humour to address a fatal flaw in society…mens mental health issues. Not enough has been spoken on this subject and Nat and his mrs Jules (not sure I spelt that right) go a long way to make this issue NOT an issue. Fucking excellent! Is all i can really say about this book. And thank you Nat and Jules for reading me a much needed story. Keep on keeping on dudes.

very enjoyable listening

really enjoyed it , some lol's and some profound moments..... I don't always agree with him , some of it is a bit to 'woke' for me but his insight to mentale health skips along side something I have experienced personal... it's all wrapped up how ever in a fun and colorful package.... not for people who can't handle the f word though 😂

Much Love!!!

This book helped me more then I could ever of hoped for. Knowing I’m not the only person having these weird feeling and just wanting to do thing my way. Being able to laugh about the way I am and remember how bad I dance when wasted at a wedding. Love you Nat.

Cried laughing

Great story, tough times told well, amazing human, loved listening. As a doc, chapter 9 had me in bits, seriously junior docs need to hear that in med school.

Really accessible and refreshing messages (and I’m old enough to be his Mum !)

Told in such a way to be accessible to young people, and if us oldies can get passed the f’bomb, I think its a great text for us to understand the damage that all our ‘wise sayings’ can have on the younger generations as parents, teachers and work colleagues.

The style is just casual observations and whilst he refers to his own mental health struggles, he doesn’t blame anyone or anything, and doesn’t become preachy or heavy.

Thank you Nat, your messaging is refreshing and so important. Hope you come over to the UK sometime 😁
