Bernhard und Magda Bauer sind seit 1966 verheiratet. Beide sind Rentner, Bernhard Bauer nach einer beruflichen Laufbahn in der Werbewirtschaft. Sie leben in einem Haus am Stadtrand von Wien sowie in Teneriffa und haben einen Sohn. 46 Jahre später ist "Liebes Leben" ihr erstes Buch erschienen.
