Summary

Could not put this book down
I read a lot of books and I hardly ever write reviews but felt I had to this time!
One of the best books Ive read.
What Emma went through was shocking and her story and journey to recovery with Reed and her new family and heart warming.
Great story and great narration. Thoroughly enjoyed the read.

Really enjoyed
Good pace. Great story. The female narrator sounded a bit too soft/wispy for me considering the lead character, her tough stance & background, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Really good!
it should come with trigger warnings as I believe it could set some of because of the topics in it
But with that said I loved every bit of it. The love and gentleness and heartbreak!

A Happy Ending
This story started out a bit slow and I wasnt sure I would continue with it, however it started to gain momentum and the dialogue more interesting and easy to follow.
Its a sad story of a young womens strength and pain, how she navigates life knowing she still has demons on her back trying to crush her. Meeting a man, who has the potential to change her warped perception is a great heartwarming element.
I loved the characters, the dialogue between them was perfect and this was written well and to listen on audible was enjoyable.

Dark and gripping.
Great story, dark and gripping. Enjoyed the characters and the performance. Worth a read if you enjoy enemies-to-lovers trope with a dark twist.

Amazing story
This is my first book by this author. Absolutely amazing story, laugh with it, cry with it, root for the heroine and all the characters around. Fantastic narration too. Loved it!

Slow and long
I found this book to be slow for the most part and far too long. However it did pick up the pace toward the end which was exciting and I loved the characters.
