Summary

He was my uncle's friend, and I was too young for him. But in the heat of the moment, against the wall in a darkened hallway of an illicit club, none of those things mattered. It was just one night of giving in to what we both wanted.

I never expected to see him two years later, sitting across from me during a family dinner, encouraging me to do my internship for his business.

On day one, we both agree that repeating that night would be a mistake. But it's a mistake we can't help but make again and again.

The rules are simple. We can't tell my uncle. We have to be content with our hotel rendezvous. And we won't fall in love.

But we both know we're liars.

Spicy age-gap 🌶️🥵

I have loved this book, such an easy listen. It was spicy and the story hit hard. It does move relatively quickly, but that’s to be expected from a Novella. Loved the performance and story!

A must for fans of age gap romance

Fiona Cole writes some of the best tension-filled, high heat level romances out there and this one hit the mark. I’m a sucker for an older man/ younger woman romance and add in the family ties, it made it all the more intense. I loved the progression, that the woman pursued the man and that when they eventually gave in to their desire, it was like fireworks.

Brian Pallino is absolutely fantastic as the dirty talking Alexander Kent. His voice was like sin. I don’t think anyone else could have done this story justice. Kent’s bromance came through with the humour and the sexy times where on fire. Ava Erickson was brilliant as Olivia Witt, she was able to not going portray the young, feisty character but nailed the vulnerability of her too. Brian and Ava’s voices complemented each other really well. The combination of young and older showed in their voices and made for an excellent performance.
