Summary

The third book in the Old Testament, and the Torah is the Book of Leviticus. Some have also called it the Third Book of Moses. Leviticus details ritual, legal, and moral practices God instructs the Israelites to follow.

Although the content is distant from modern life, it offers insights into ancient Israelite culture and religious life. It provides a glimpse into how the people connected with God through their rituals and sacrifices. It contains laws regarding ethical conduct, social justice, and caring for others. In doing so, it also shows a loving God who carefully describes how his people were to conduct themselves across a broad spectrum of life’s situations.

These teachings can still resonate with us today and be thankful for the ultimate sacrifice made by God by sending Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sinful nature.

The Bible is not just a book. It is the word of God, the ultimate source of truth, wisdom, and guidance for humanity. It is the story of God’s love for us and his plan for our salvation. It is the foundation of our faith, our hope, and our purpose. The Bible is God's Word and it has the power to change lives.

But don’t take our word for it. Listen to what some of the most influential people in history have said about the Bible:

  • “The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.” (Patrick Henry)
  • “Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face.” (Ronald Reagan)
  • “The Bible was America’s basic text book in all fields.” (Noah Webster)
  • “The whole hope of human progress is suspended on the ever growing influence of the Bible.” (William H. Seward)

The Bible is not only relevant for the past, but also for the present and the future. It contains timeless principles and practical advice for every aspect of life: relationships, finances, health, work, ethics, spirituality, and more. If you want to know what's to come, need to understand who Jesus is, have fear or anxiety, feel empty inside, need love, understanding, peace, joy...the Bible holds the answers you need.

The Bible is different than every other book. The Bible is a living book that speaks to each person individually and personally. It reveals God’s character, his will, and his promises for us. It convicts us of our sins, comforts us in our sorrows, and challenges us to grow in faith and obedience.

The Bible is the very essence of Jesus. It is about him, but there is more than that. It is God’s conversation with us. It is alive. It is active. It is a two-way conversation. Through the Easy to Understand, Read Audio Bible, you have the opportunity to hear God speak to you. It is not just a book you read once and put away. It is a book you study, meditate on, apply, and share with others. It is a book that transforms you from the inside out.

When we need wisdom, insight, guidance, God has given us the Bible. It’s a powerful and intimate way to listen to him, and it is the primary way God tells us about himself. The Easy to Understand, Read audio Bible is a tool God can use to speak to you. Each one of the audio books is an invitation to hear what God is saying to you, and can help you become closer to him.
