I enjoyed this audio book which had a wonderfully twisted plot but it was spoilt by the narrator trying so hard to do an authentic English accent. It was much to clipped which sometimes lost a lot of the dialogue and pronounced English words incorrectly. Can I just point out that powerful people in that period did not get up to cold rooms, they had maids who came up at the crack of dawn to set their fires.
