Max has settled nicely into life in Welling.

It follows Where Foxes Say Goodnight but largely stands alone and closes the series.

I’ve really like the two books in this series, I hope there will be more.

Really Good Mystery romance

I do so enjoy this series of USA 🇺🇸 cozy crime stories. The tales are so well told with excellent vocal characterization. Spoiler alert so far there are only two novels in the series. I would so appreciate it third.

It took me sometimes to remember who the second characters were and what was their parts in thre previous book. But once I did, I enjoyed the book.
The plot was more mystery than romance, making this book more a companion book than a real second book of a duology! The best part of the book were the characters, especially the MCs.
