This is a reverse age gap. He is a NBA basketball player 🏀 and she is the mum of his enemy. Only 8 years age gap is not much but it appears to be a problem amongst other things.
The book is full of heavy stuff too, so check trigger warnings.
There is hilarity, a ton of steam, and a really good story.
Free on KU, but I bought the audio book too and the narration is perfection. Jakobi Diem and Adenrele I'll are amazing at interpreting the characters (not to mention their voices are beautiful and sexy too).

This was a good listen.
Little mistake by author when Kim was rationalising a relationship with Lee and mentioned his brother married an older woman. He has 3 brothers, the twins unmarried and oldedt’s wife is 9 years his junior.
Other than that slip up, story is well written and well read.
Could have dealt with domestic violence in more depth, though

I absolutely loved this book 2 I thought book 1 was amazing and you couldn't top that but I would listen to this book over and over again
the narrator's are amazing with all of the McClain books. they make it funny and interesting especially JAKOBI

I love all of her books lol but they are all the same. But I love them that way lol and I’ll most likely continue to listen to her books until I’ve finished every single one. I’d recommend this one… great story and intense 😉 moments
