Summary
La ciutat bull amb milers de persones vinculades al règim nazi, hi ha membres de les SS, espies internacionals, les banderes amb la creu gamada pel centre de la ciutat, els feixistes italians.... I enmig d'aquella Barcelona amb afusellaments al Camp de la Bota, amb matances indiscriminades, amb una misèria extrema, brillava amb llum pròpia un hotel anomenat Ritz on un dia arriba un jueu perseguit a França que fuig per salvar la vida amb els seus músics travessant a peu els Pirineus.
