Summary

A soon-to-be-retired police officer with a fiery temper. An unpopular murdered victim. Can a small town bakery owner solve the case before all hell breaks loose?

Can Meghan help her boyfriend, Detective Jack Irvin, connect the dots and solve this murder investigation in the nick of time?

Cozy mystery

I have not listened to any of the other stories in this series and was still able to enjoy it. I plan on checking out the other stories of Sandy Bay. This story had a creative murder. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Enjoyable Cozy

This book was my first introduction to the Sandy Bay Mysteries. This book can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone. What I didn't like is that there are no clues as to whom committed the murder in the story. The main character, Meghan Truman just seems to guess and the mystery is solved. I did enjoy the incidental twist at the end. Elena Marino's narration is fine and her voice is pleasant and clear. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.
