One of my most-anticipated reads of the summer, Legendary is a beautiful story worthy of a binge read
We already know this book is going to be - wait for it - legendary
So Caraval was my favourite book that I read in 2017 thus it is safe to say that Legendary was my most anticipated release of this year. Were my expectations met? Heck yes they were!
This time we follow Tella through a Caraval that's different from the one Scarlett took part in and this time the stakes are much higher. I could have read this much faster if I didn't have to sleep. I was whisked straight back into the world of Caraval and even though it's set in a different place and we meet new characters we're also reunited with characters from the first book so it felt like coming home. I love Rebecca's narration too
The took twists and turns that were even bigger than the those featured in the first book and did exactly what a second installment should. There was more character development, expansion of the world within, more to love, more to win but also more to lose.
