About this listen

Enemies turn to lovers in this bad boy billionaire romance with a twist.

I had a plan.

Finish law school. Start a job. Stay away from men like Brandon Sterling. Cocky, overbearing, and richer than the Earth, he thinks the world belongs to him, and that includes me.

Yeah, no. Think again.

It doesn't matter that his blue eyes look straight into my soul, or that his touch melts my icy reserve. It doesn't even matter that past all that swagger, there's a beautiful, damaged man who has so much to offer beyond private planes and jewelry boxes.

But I had a plan: no falling in love.

I just have to convince myself.

Contains mature themes.

Maybe it’s my own fault for expecting a HEA but I was so disappointed with how this ended… I feel she didn’t treat him very kindly by the end. Not my idea of a nice read unfortunately but some may be into it.

Don’t read if you’re after a HEA

This book is sooooo drawn out and I’m sorry to say but the MFC totally pisses me off. She’s over dramatic and mean towards her love interest (if you could call what she does to him love) and her hang ups are so many and stupid I just can’t… the only reason I listened to the end was the sweet MMC that is a really interesting and endearing mix of dominant and insecure. She however doesn’t deserve him and honestly I thought it was a stand-alone. When I realized it was part one out of three towards the end when things just kept escalating I got even more pissed. If you want angst and can sympathize whit a female lead that is just selfish and insecure and not at all interested in giving the person she supposedly love the benefit of the doubt, this book is for you. If not.. find something else to listen to. The one thing that makes it worth the listen, aside from the MMC whom I’d jump in a second if I were the MFC, is CJ Bloom who is probably the best female narrator out there.

CJ is the saving grace
