Summary

With Paul Noble’s simple, relaxed approach you will learn in a way that suits you – without having to memorise long lists of words you won’t use, scribbling notes as you listen, or feeling frustrated. Instead, Paul will introduce you to the basics of the Italian language and guide you through over 12 hours of everyday scenarios – from simple situations like asking for directions and eating out to talking about yourself and how to master the different tenses – that are practical, fun, and applicable. Just listen, interact, and learn wherever you are.

Whatever your experience with languages, whether you’re an absolute beginner or someone with basic knowledge who wants to improve their ability, this is the course to get you speaking Spanish quickly and confidently.

Two native-speaking Spanish experts will help you to perfect your pronunciation as you progress through the course. You will learn a huge range of vocabulary in no time at all, and be able to quickly make your new knowledge work for you in a variety of everyday scenarios. A downloadable booklet is also included to use as a reference and revision tool.

Paul Noble left school unable to speak a language – having found that the traditional learning methods left him feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. Determined that there must be a better way to learn, Paul spent years devising his own unique method of learning languages which cuts out all the grammar, all the memorisation, and all the stress. He began using his method to teach in his Language Institute and, thousands of students later, he prides himself on never having had a student fail.

This download contains the entire course – Parts 1, 2, and 3. To continue your language learning journey once you’ve completed this course, download Next Steps in Spanish with Paul Noble for Intermediate Learners – Complete Course.

Better than Michelle Thomas or Pimsleur

What did you like most about Learn Spanish with Paul Noble: Complete Course: Spanish Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach?

The course takes a very modern and engaging approach to language learning which will be familiar to anyone who has used Michelle Thomas or Pimsleur. To be honest it's pretty much a mix of the two methods- but it's better than both. The host has a much nicer manner than Michelle and the flow of conversation is much more seamless than with Pimsleur. For me, one of the most important things about any language course is how enjoyable it is, because that will dictate how often I press play. This one has a nice mix of being engaging, challenging and rewarding- all without being exhausting. It's good- get it!

What other book might you compare Learn Spanish with Paul Noble: Complete Course: Spanish Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach to, and why?

Michelle Thomas has the same conversational style, but I find his voice annoying and his manner a bit condescending.Pimsleur uses the same spaced repetition to ensure retention of new words, but the structure of the lessons gets a bit predictable and dry pretty rapidly.
This one combines the best parts of the other two, and improves upon them.

Absolutely fantastico!

I've always been pretty useless at learning languages but this has changed all that. Couldn't rate Noble's method high enough.

Good but with a lot of room for improvments

Very good for a gentle introdution.

lots and lots of repertition which is worked well for a slow learner for me.

This is however a very basic introduction to spanish and should not be billed as 'spanish complete course'.

i would say this should be a beginers course and i would like to see a paul nobles intermidiate spanish course in the future.

Definatly worth a buy if you know little to no spanish and are looking for somewhere to start.

A good introduction to Spanish

This audiobook is a good introduction to Spanish. It covers both Latin American and Castilian Spanish and the differences are explained well.

Overall this book is vey good and the content is good but there are are some basics I might've expected to be covered like greetings, colours and size comparisons e.g. big and small.

I think I could now get by on a visit to Spain. Many thanks.

Eye (ear?) Opening!

I don't know what it is exactly.... but the way Paul Noble teaches language is different than any other system I had tried. It seems to me that he teaches in the way we learnt to speak as children. It's all very natural and it sticks. I realised very early on that I was instinctively learning spanish and was able to use and build on what I learned very organically. I cannot recommend this audio book/ course highly enough. If you want to learn languages this is the book for you. You will not regret this purchase!

Good start but gets hard quick.

Great intro but by chapter 7 he's getting you to say whole sentences when you not memorised words from chapters before yet. Although he states don't memorise words just keep listen and you pick more up as he repeats. But the repeated words are part of a whole sentence. So you're trying to work out which word they said was the word in English. I think up to 4 or 5 word sentences is enough this early on. We can join them ourself for longer sentences later when we actually can remember 5 to 10 at one go. First male Spanish speaker is also a bit quick with little space between words, so not hearing each word. The girl is a lot better at spacing the words so can hear clearly and time to process as she says it.

Overall I think it's good but unlike the tutor says, I don't think you can just listen without stopping after chapter 5 and learn everything to that point without getting lost by chapter 7.

Overnight success

I had no prior knowledge of Spanish at all. While on holiday listening the first few chapters I was able to order things and ask if they accepted credit cards and so on literally overnight. English being my second language (and trying to learn Dutch go a while) I know how much effort is required learning a new language. This is the best method for me so far. Garcia Paul Noble, puedo hablar Español ahora.

Loved it! I feel like I learned a lot!

So I've been trying to really get this Spanish thing down! I used Pimsleur for 4 months (completed the 5 levels) and I learned a lot! What I like about this that's different from Pimsleur is that he gives you tips and tricks on how to turn English words into Spanish or explains why something is done this way or that way whereas Pimsleur was more conversational with no real explanation why certain words were said they were. Now, I love Pimsleur, don't get me wrong. I think they're both great. But again, I'm more of a person who likes to know the why as I find it helps it stick better. I suggest doing both honestly. It definitely made my daily commutes quite enjoyable.

Finally... after 5 years of classes. This works!!

I'm only 3 chapters in and I'm already rating this 5 stars. I wish that I had learned these "tricks" years ago. I think this is also helpful in helping support English language learners. I wish I had time to just zip through this book. After 5 classes and countless hours of Duolingo, I'm finally acquiring vocabulary (WITHOUT memorizing) and conversational Spanish. FYI, this book teaches both kinds of Spanish (he uses a male voice for one a female voice for the other to make it easy to discern).

Author has a fascination with donuts and baggets

Great audiobook. Highly recommended. My only complaints are the author spends an hour or more making sure you can order donuts and baggets in Spain. He will spend an hour beating a simple concept into your head, but will briefly gloss over new complex concepts then never mention then again. The native central American speaker isn't used anymore half way through the book and it's all the speaker from Spain. With that said it was a great audiobook.

Gave me a good start in the Spanish language!

I really enjoyed learning through this course! it helped me very much. It was all very clear and understandable.
I didn't know much Spanish besides hola and buenos dias. but now I feel I can really have a basic conversation and get around a bit if I'm in a Spanish speaking country.
Now I'm going on another next course! :)

Awesome! Just lacking signposts

This audio book is especially effective at getting you to practice and speak Spanish. It really helped build my confidence with pronunciation and helped that I had learned more of the words before so it was okay that they weren’t spelled out every time. My biggest critique is the lack of signposts or chapter names. It’s nearly impossible to go back and practice something because they never tell you names of chapters or what you’re practicing when.

Excellent

Highly recommend if you need a program that is audio based only, for example if you are driving or don’t have internet reception all the time.

Great learning experience for traveling

I liked how easy and quick Paul gets you speaking useful phrases. If you’re looking for something deeper than vocabulary for travel or expanding vocabulary from an intermediate level the later sections will be more interesting.
