learning vocabulary by rota is probably the worst way to learn a language!
however i have used this many times. i find it good for review and enjoy it when I can pre empt the Japanese speaker with the correct word!
i listen while walking and repeat the sounds without trying to actively memorize, or i to leave it running in the background while I go to sleep, I think it is useful as one layer of many in exposing to the sounds of the language.
also helps in getting used to the many English loanwords in the language

you won't learn Japanese from this but..
