I thought this was superhelpful and makes a lot of sense. Would say probably more geared for an experienced gym-goer but definitely makes his other book 'the ultimate gym workout' [which I've also purchased recently] more understandable regarding why the workouts were designed that way. One minor criticism was the narrator's voice got a little annoying after a while, but other than that, couldn't fault this book.

I learned a lot and thought i knew enough lol.

Great advice, lots of detail, doesn't just focus on burning fat and building muscle, but also foods to treat and prevent cancer, heart disease, obesity, and exercises to prevent sarcopenia [muscle loss] when you get older. A great all round book. A great pdf too!

This is one of the best weight loss books i've come across. The 'Lean Gains' ebook was recommended by a colleague at my workplace. I preferred to get the audiobook version. The pdf companion was also super-helpful. I like the fact that everything is explained in an easy-to-understand manner but, at the same time, no stone is left un-turned.

Covers a range of topics in a lot of detail. I thought the 'think and grow ripped' chapter was very clever play on words. The pdf bit that comes with the book is really good.
