Summary

Un terribile rimorso affligge il dottor Calgary. Per colpa sua, infatti, Jack Argyle è stato condannato per l'assassinio della madre ed è morto in prigione. Calgary, che ha le prove dell'innocenza di Jack, non ha potuto testimoniare in sua difesa perché all'epoca delle indagini si trovava in Antartide con una spedizione scientifica. Ritornato in patria si precipita dagli Argyle per riabilitare la memoria di Jack. La reazione della famiglia, però, non è quella che si aspetta: la sua dichiarazione viene accolta con ostilità e getta nuovi, terribili sospetti sugli altri membri della famiglia. Eccezionale, fuori dal solito schema. Geniale!

Trovo molto importante la prefazione, perché aiuta a godersi in pieno il libro. Inaspettatamente c'è anche la post fazione che completa elegantemente la comprensione di questo libro, considerato un fuori serie.
Uno dei libri più ben letti / interpretati, davvero molto bravo Alberto, complimenti vivissimi!
