C'est mon deuxième livre de Kessel. Le premier était les Cavaliers que j'avais trouvé époustouflant. La qualité d'écriture mais aussi la description fine des personnages, je les ai retrouvés dans Le Lion, mais je n'ai pas été transporté par l'histoire.

Extrêmement bien écrit, mais pas haletant !
