A really good story and beautifully read. This added to the enjoyment of the story. A good reader is so important. I have rejected some books because of the poor or irritating performance of the reader.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but happy to read it in instalments.

Some readers have no emotion in their voice and some read as if they are in a sprint race and a few have a tone of voice which unfortunately is really irritating to the ear. The reader of this book was excellent: it was beautifully read. I can see this story made into a film.

This is a beautifully written love story by Nora Roberts ( not a surprise there as she writes them so well) and narrated brilliantly by Todd Haberkorn.
I was enthralled from start to finish, so much so I listened to the entire book in one sitting. Highly recommended. Thank you x

You will love this cowboy romance.
A good story that doesn't challenge, it just lets you relax back into the old wild west. A nice change from the regency romances.
Narrator delivers all the characters well and bit one accent grates.
The characters are realistic, the setting comes to life and the events varied but not too over the top.
You should give it a listen.
