Lexington and Mercy’s story pulled at my heartstrings. Mercy found herself alone in the world and looking to set roots in the area she was from, Lexington saw his family fall in love and find their forever but was never able to find his own happiness. Their second chance, fake dating, estranged friends to lovers was lovely and swoony. The mystery and danger set by Mercy’s ex added a little more interest to the story.
Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro made the audiobook and the characters shine!!

Lexington and Mercy start off shaky at a failed wedding and then they don’t see each other of a long time till Lex buys the house next to Mercy.
Mercy and Lex end up in a fake relationship when Lex’s ex turns up with her husband that is trying to get same job as Lex to try an impress the client.
Absolutely love how everything develops and romance blossoms between them.
I love the huge extended family the Montgomery have become but I do admit I lose track of who people are.
As always Carrie Ann Ryan picked amazing narrators for the characters with Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro

This was so good, but damaging to my nails, seriously the suspense had me chewing at the nail polish on my thumbnail a habit i thought i had given up until this book came along and intrigued me back into bad habits with being so amazing. The writing was fantastic of course it was and the drama of the story was so well done. It kept me focused on the story the whole time. Well worth a listen and best of all was the HEA that only Carrie Ann Ryan can deliver. Now off to fix my nails

Last Chance Seduction was a terrific listen! I love a good heartfelt story that hits all the emotions, and this one did just that. A fake relationship started because of business, began as fun and flirty, but has Lex and Mercy admitting their feelings for one another. This was a great addition to the series and had me hooked from the start. This was a charming and heartfelt story that took readers on a rollercoaster of a journey to their hea.

Narration by Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke. Both narrators portrayed the characters exactly as I had imagined, and they really brought the story to life. Easy and enjoyable listen that kept me entertained until the end.
