Summary

Segunda Guerra Mundial. Navidad de 1943. Clarice y sus compañeros de la División OpenMind reciben un mensaje decodificado, que ha sido interceptado a la Ahnenerbe, la asociación ocultista nazi. En él informan a sus superiores de que han derribado un avión americano sobre los bosques de Bélgica y han conseguido acabar con una enemiga a la que identifican como “la princesa lectora”. El sexto sentido de Clarice le hace pensar que con ese nombre pueden estar refiriéndose a Sally, su mejor amiga en el Pentágono, que destacaba por sus capacidades para leer las mentes ajenas.
