I adore this series, and this has been my favourite book in the series so far.
The first half of the book is a bit scary, but I quite like the element of horror throughout this series. it's makes the books quite original and different to the others, in a good way.
There was also bits that pulled on my heart strings.
World building was spectacular and I could really see what was going on in my minds eye.
I also really liked the side characters in this book. I really hope we see them in future books. all the crew were very unique with distinct personalities of their own.
I could also feel the chemistry between the main characters. such a well written book. I cannot wait for the next one.
The voice actress was excellent also. She has a nice smooth voice.

The other stories I’ve listened to a few times. This is the first time where I thought once was enough. This story just didn’t do anything to keep my interest and I kept rewinding bits. The narrator was ok and that was it. I really love the creation of the Vrishas, their warriors and the series of books. This book was not for me.
