“Michelle M. Pillow is an incredible talent! No matter the genre she writes, I'm captivated, enthralled and totally in love. She is not to be missed!" (Gena Showalter, New York Times best-selling author)

"Michelle M. Pillow weaves a story so engrossing that I lose track of time while reading and think about the characters long after I'm done." (Mandy M. Roth, New York Times best-selling author)

Magic, mischief & kilts!

A modern-day Scottish warlock paranormal romance by NYT best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin....

Scottish Warlock Euann MacGregor may be the tech-savvy one in his family, but when it comes to love, savvy doesn’t enter into the equation. So when he crosses paths, in the most unusual way, with a woman who holds an essential piece to a puzzle that has haunted the MacGregor family for decades, he’s torn between wanting answers and wanting her. Forces beyond his control have brought them together, but those same dangers might also be what tears them apart forever.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

he is probably the least fav of the brothers, but i still enjoyed this book like all the other in the series. i felt the focus was more on kenneth and jewel than on the 2 protagonists. also, their love progresses very quickly in comparison to the other stories. but who wouldn't fall in love with the McGregor brothers in 5 minutes?

not the fav brother

Euann is in charge of the family security. While checking the a security feed he sees a strange young girl. While going to investigate he meets Cora. Cora is looking at her a young girl called Jewel. As the story unfolds we find out that Cora holds the answer to a piece of the puzzle that has baffled the MacGregors for years. We have mystery, humour, twists and turns and pure passion. Euann is the tech savvy MacGregor but that savviness doesn't always spread beyond tech. Cora and Euann's attraction to each other is balanced well with the other surprises in this story. I thoroughly enjoyed finding out a few surprises while Euann gets his own HEA.

Savvy in tech only

An other fun read, but not the best of the lot. The missing brother takes a lot of space in this story and it felt like a stone in the flow sometimes.
However, this book is still very entertaining and light read.

I am a fan and enjoy Michelle M Pillow's books as they are lovely escapism with mix of sexy, fun, magic and all things supernatural.
The MacGregor family are a great eclectic mix of characters and each book is based around one member of the very extensive family as they discover their true love/soul mate which involves a magical, mysterious and rollercoaster of adventure. This time we have Euann and Cora's story.
Enjoyable, fun, romantic and pure escapism to enter into and learn more about the MacGregor clan, background to each family member and always the other interesting characters in the family around to cause mischief and mayhem.
Added bonus with the audiobook version is a great Scottish accent of the narrator Michael Ferraiuolo which brings to life the chaotic MacGregor clan.
