Best read of the year. The plot, writing, characters and narrators all perfect. I did see the ending coming but that’s usually for Romantasy books, nevertheless I am on the edge of my seat for the next book.

I thought this was brilliant, exciting, and clever. I had a great time listening to this; the narrators were fantastic with the only caveat that the female narrator felt slightly overly dramatic at times (that's just my personal opinion and it didn't detract from the story at all). I cannot wait for the next one to see how big and vast this story and world could get. Did I see one of the twists coming? Yes. Did the lack of shock ruin it? Absolutely not. I really, really enjoyed it and would recommend reading/listening to this book.

Kissed by the Gods by Caty Rogan completely exceeded every expectation I had. This is one of those rare books that grabs you from the very first page and refuses to let go. The blend of mythology, romance, suspense, and emotion is beautifully balanced, creating a story that feels both epic and deeply personal.

The world-building is immersive without ever feeling overwhelming, and the mythology is woven into the story in such a fresh, compelling way. Every chapter left me wanting more, and I found myself constantly thinking about the characters even when I wasn't reading.

The characters are unforgettable. Their growth, relationships, and emotional journeys felt genuine, and I became completely invested in their story. The romance is filled with chemistry, heart, and just the right amount of tension, making every interaction meaningful.

Rogan's writing is absolutely stunning—beautifully descriptive, emotionally rich, and impossible to put down. There were moments that made me smile, moments that broke my heart, and moments that left me completely speechless.

This is more than just a fantasy romance—it's an unforgettable journey filled with magic, emotion, and unforgettable characters. If I could give this book more than five stars, I absolutely would. It's a six-star read in every sense of the word and one I'll be recommending to everyone.

story: solid romantasy. nothing out of the ordinary. I enjoyed it. I did guess a bits ahead of time, but it didnt take anything away from the story.
I do plan to continue with this series.
audio: female narrator was a bit overly dramatic in places for my taste. and male narrator had very little variation to his voice that one conversation between 2 male characters sounded like the bloke was just talking to himself, I couldn't differentiate.
