Summary
Just like the lonely princess in the fairy tale who was reluctant to lock lips with a warty frog and transform him into a handsome prince, something stops many of us short of attaining our dreams. Our negative thoughts, emotions, and attitudes can threaten to keep us from achieving all that we're capable of. Here best-selling author and speaker Brian Tracy and his daughter, therapist Christina Tracy Stein, provide a set of practical, proven strategies anyone can use to turn those negative frogs into positive princes.
Tracy and Stein present a step-by-step plan that addresses the root causes of negativity, helps you uncover blocks that have become mental obstacles, and shows how you can transform them into stepping-stones to achieve your fullest potential. The audiobook distills, in an accessible and immediately useful form, what Tracy has presented in more than 5,000 talks and seminars with more than five million people in 58 countries and what Stein has learned through thousands of hours of counseling people from all walks of life.
The many powerful techniques and exercises in this audiobook will help you change your mind-set so that you discover something worthwhile in every person and experience, however difficult and challenging they might seem at first. You'll learn how to develop unshakable self-confidence, become your best self, and begin living an extraordinary life.

Terrible audio quality for such a big name author
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Higher production value
Would you ever listen to anything by Brian Tracy and Christina Tracy Stein again?
Yes
What didn’t you like about Brian Tracy’s performance?
For such a famous and big name author you would expect a higher production value than what is recorded here. It sounds like Mr. Tracy recorded this audiobook in his bathroom with a cheap computer and a microphone he bought from a toy store.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
the subject matter was unique.

Vague and often false advice on positive thinking
I agree with other reviewers in that this book isn't reasonable. Thinking positively isn't only about replacing negative emotions with positive ones, but about living in truth. For example, the book condemns all guilt and claims anyone who uses guilt over another is wrong. This is simply incorrect; thinking positive is more than pretending one is not guilty and replacing negative feelings with positive ones; it seems reasonable that positive thinking is living in truth; that may mean ackowledging our guilt and doing something to remove it and then building a better life. Positive thinking is useless in my view if it's not based on truth.

As Annoying as Talking with Your Mouth Full
Would you try another book from Brian Tracy and Christina Tracy Stein and/or Brian Tracy?
Yes, but only if the recording is done more professionally. First off, Brian is smacking his lips like crazy. Why this was not edited out is annoying. It also sounds like Brian is not doing this in a studio but maybe at his own home. It sounds like he is on a cheap microphone or is in a very small room and the echo sounds like he is in a box. This wasn't something I picked up with the lower quality sample; Maybe it was because I was busy doing other things and I had other distractions but listening to the recording now I regret buying this title. I mainly bought it because of the credibility of Brian's previous works. From now on I will think twice before buying another Brian Tracy audiobook. The print versions are still awesome though.
Who was your favorite character and why?
N/A
How could the performance have been better?
It could've been recorded in a studio, the sound could've been edited first, or Brian could have let some other narrator narrate his book.
Any additional comments?
I really like what Brian Tracy has to offer, but the sound of this recording is so unbearable that I'm not sure if I am really getting much out of it because I am so distracted by his lip smacking and the background noise.
