About this listen

Millions of readers have thrilled to bestselling authors Bill O'Reilly and historian Martin Dugard's Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln, page-turning works of nonfiction that have changed the way we read history.

The basis for the 2015 television film available on streaming.

Now the iconic anchor of The O'Reilly Factor details the events leading up to the murder of the most influential man in history: Jesus of Nazareth. Nearly two thousand years after this beloved and controversial young revolutionary was brutally killed by Roman soldiers, more than 2.2 billion human beings attempt to follow his teachings and believe he is God. Killing Jesus will take readers inside Jesus's life, recounting the seismic political and historical events that made his death inevitable - and changed the world forever.

Critic reviews

“O'Reilly is the natural choice to narrate this work… he carries the work along and the audiobook is a good introduction to the Synoptic Gospels.” —AudioFile Magazine

A very captivating, compelling, and historically accurate book. Could their be some inaccuracies? Possibly. History that ancient is very difficult to achieve precision accuracy on so some critics will likely questions some parts of it but one can be sure that this book offers as accurate a history as one can obtain under a single book cover. It certainly brings to life the immense depth of suffering that Jesus endured before finally dying for our underserved but desperately needed salvation. This book helps us come to terms with that suffering and to even more appropriate the depth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrifice for our sins.

Simply excellent

This is a fascinating book with deeper insights into Roman Jewish and Christian religions I am so glad I read it before purchasing this audio book however - the American accent irritates me no end which is a terrible shame as I say the book is excellent.

The book is fascinating

Didn't seem that historical, so I read Killing History too. Shows how unhistorical this "history" is
