Kaw Lake sure took me on an adventure! What starts off as a small town creature feature takes a script flipping turn 1/3 of the way in and it was a rollercoaster!

I really enjoyed the narration, however I did listen at 1.7x as he was a slower speaker. I really enjoyed the walkie talkie additions to the audiobook- brilliant way to have more immersion into the story.

If you are into creature features you will enjoy this one, however the way it turned out for the last 2/3 it would also be great for people who enjoy war stories/WW2 themes.

This audiobook was so good! Nothing what I judged it was going to be. The voice actors did a great job and the story itself is captivating.

I loved how the story progressed, the character-development, and all the high action scenes. All around a 5 star read and listen.
