Summary

True love is worth fighting for!

My name is Connor Williams, and people say I’m crazy. But that’s not who I am. They also think I’m straight, mean, and dangerous. But that’s not who I am either. The stories people tell—all those legends they whisper at school—they don’t mean a thing. Only my mother and younger brother matter to me.

It's funny that I find myself wanting to stand up for someone else. David Henry, the cute bookish guy who always keeps to himself, is about to get his ass beat by a bunch of dudes bigger than him. I could look away, let him be one more causality of this cruel world, but that’s not who I am.

Kamikaze Boys, a Lambda Literary award-winning novel, is a story of love triumphant as two young men walk a perilous path in the hopes of saving each other.

Brilliant

One of best stories I have listened to, with a happy ending that makes you smile.

heartwarming

this is a great book that makes you laugh out loud feel their pain and pleasure and most of all feel warm inside from their love for each other

Almost lost for words

A must read and you won't regret it one bit when you get to the end. Including the epilogue.

Daft

Not at all up to the usual standards of Jay Bell. 'Straight Boy', is the yard-stick I measure all his books against. This was not a patch on it. The story is just so incredibly unlikely, and also inconclusive about the villain of the piece. Disappointing but listenable.
