Narrators American accent is truly horrible

That was the only bit I didn’t enjoy! It was incredibly jarring. “Australiar, thort, idear, mother and farther’! Heinous! The book itself was great, descriptive and enjoyable. Painted a beautiful picture of outback life in the early part of the century

Great book - fair dinkum

An epic that shares times and events, both good and bed, of Australia over a span of 70 years particularly in the bush.
